Education Programs Overview
Zooniversity® offers fun, hands-on learning for groups of all ages and sizes — we have just the right wildlife education program you’re looking for.
Need life science enrichment or a “big show” for your school, daycare, church, scout troop or library? We offer single or multi-event wildlife shows for groups of all sizes:
For small groups of less than 20 school-age participants (ages 6 years and up), try our Classroom Critters — a wildlife touch program that’ll inspire your group with true, hands-on learning.
For larger groups of up to 300 attendees of all ages, try our assembly or stage-style Stage Stars — a wildlife show they will brag about for years! Curriculum is always age appropriate, ages 3 years through seniors.
See our Complete Course List to explore our 20 different wildlife curricula. We even offer special themes for those hard-to-entertain pre-schoolers and special needs students.
And, for events where a scheduled performance just wouldn’t work, we offer Exotics Exhibit — an exotic animal display table, stationed with knowledgeable zookeepers, that’s perfect for festival-style events and fund raisers.
We also offer Zoo School — a formal, multi-week zoology class for elementary-age students, homeschoolers and after-schoolers. The first of its kind in Texas! Students meet weekly and participate in species-specific and habitat-specific lectures and discussions and, of course, meet some live animals to support that day’s lesson. Perfect for aspiring zoologists and conservationists!
