It’s not a cantaloupe. Dallas-based Zooniversity Wildlife Educator Allison Blankenship shows a Three-Banded Armadillo, a native of South America, to pre-school age children on Tuesday during Summer Reading Club at the Cleburne Public Library. Zooniversity is a traveling wildlife education company that introduces children and adults to exotic animals, all former unwanted, injured or abused, delivering more than 700 conservation-based programs at schools, day cares, libraries, churches, scouts, community and corporate events and private parties throughout Texas and surrounding states.
